Ice Hockey Team

Grace Lancto

Originally from Salisbury, Connecticut, Grace started playing hockey at the age of 4 with her three older brothers and dad. It was a big piece of her life and brought her family together as they traveled around the East Coast to watch and play games. She attended many camps and tournaments over the years, always challenging herself to advance physically and mentally. She played on a co-ed team until she was 17 and then switched to the Falcons, an all-girls travel team. She took a break from hockey while attending college in London, UK and started playing again after moving to Boston.

Grace was an assistant coach during high school and has extensive experience with drills from camps and clinics. She is excited to be on the ice with Belmont Women's Hockey, to further develop as a coach, and to share her love of the game.

Robin Lubbock

Robin started skating as an adult, providing him with empathy and understanding for new adult skaters.  Over the last 20 years, he has furthered his skating and game knowledge with pick-up, league teams and twice a week skates.  When his kids started playing, Robin coached or helped their teams, from Mites through Midgets.  As part of that, Robin became a Level 4 USA Hockey coach.

Robin has been an assistant coach for the Cambridge Moms skate for quite a few years and believes the most important point is that people enjoy the skate. But part of enjoying a skate is working hard, so it's good to be pushed a little!

Dave Talanian

Dave has been coaching hockey since 2010, and women’s hockey since 2016, when his wife and other players in her beginners’ clinic put together a team to play in the NEWHL April Showers tournament. They had so much fun they began practicing and playing games together and are still going strong.   In addition to the Belmont Womens’ Hockey program, Dave also coached in the Belmont Recreation Womens’ Hockey program.

Dave grew up playing hockey on Arlington’s ponds, played Arlington Youth Hockey, high school hockey for Arlington and BB&N, and finished his competitive career as a co-captain at Connecticut College, where he was named Most Improved Player as a sophomore.  He aspires to provide the same level of great coaching he had as a player.

Liz Kramp

Originally from Farmington Hills, Michigan, Liz has been playing and loving hockey since the age of 5. She is currently a Senior at UMass Boston and plays on the Women’s NCAA Division III team.

Liz loves to share her knowledge of the game to grow others’ skills and the game as a whole. She started volunteering for learn to skate/learn to play programs at the age of 12. As she progressed as a player, she continued to take on bigger roles and teach more in-depth skating and skills. Most recently, during her last 2 years in Boston, she has assisted in coaching powerskating and skills at multiple companies, as well as at camps and private lessons. Liz is ecstatic to be part of the Belmont Women's program and to help support and grow women’s hockey!
